The "Truth" for the base

I'm tired of everything Trump.  That is except the base.  I give a lot of thought to the who makes up the base and what they think and what they want.  And the biggest single question I have is how they can possibly believe Trump.

Common definition of Truth:

Ah.  It is the surprise second definition.  Shortened, it reads, "TRUTH is a belief that is accepted as true".  A truth doesn't have to be true, it is a warded the status of truth if a statement is believed to be true.  

The same concept from a different point of view: "Truth is not truth, perception is truth". 

So my challenge now is not to dwell on Trump, an extremely foolish waste of time; but rather to try to understand the perception of the "Trump base" that differs so radically from my point of view.  I need to slow down and listen to the fundamentals of the base's perception and belief system.

I wonder whose mind will be changed?
