This email from Samsung speaks for itself, but it raises a couple of questions in my mind. First, Samsung provided its own remote with my Home Theater, what code does it use? And second, how would Comcast know what code was built into the Samsung unit?

Dear David Murphy,
Thank you for contacting Samsung. I understand you are contacting us regarding the matter of a code to program your cable remote to control your Samsung blu-ray home theater system. I will gladly provide you with some information in response to your inquiry.
In order to program another manufacturer's universal remote (including Cable and Satellite Box remote controls) to control your Samsung television, home theater system, blu-ray player you need to contact that manufacturer or view the documentation that came with the remote control. Every universal remote has different steps and procedures to program for use with each device.
Remote Codes
The codes used to program your remote are determined by the manufacturer of the remote, not Samsung. The codes used for a Samsung product on one universal remote will be different for another universal remote. The codes are specific to the remote, not the Samsung product. Please contact your manufacturer or view the documentation that came with your remote control to determine which codes to use. The HT-F4500 is a new 2013 model, so the manufacturer of your remote may not has developed a code for the remote to control the item.
I apologize for the inconvenience and hope this information was helpful to your inquiry.
