I Respond to Ms. St. John - self-exlanatory
Ms. St John,
Thank you very much for your reply. I have taken the codes you have provided and they do not work.
Your description of your steps is excellent. I was unable to recreate the error messages you got. When you did get codes, you apparently skipped step 2, selecting the Device. Comcast has repeated told me to select AUDIO. I have repeated that fact many times in my documentation, and in pictures of the results. I did try all the codes you sent and they successfully turned my Samsung TV on and off but never the Entertainment Center.
I need to escalate this to someone who will simply tell me if Comcast supports the entertainment center that is documented in my web pages, or tell me that Comcast will not support that Samsung IR code.
By the way, if you look at my documentation, you will see that all of your colleagues repeat these same instructions. You are not alone in ignoring my real question which is very specifically about the Samsung HT-F4500 DVD Home Entertainment Center. Everyone must be reading from the same book and not reading or understanding what I am trying to ask. Will you support this or has Comcast determined it cannot?
Please help. If you would let the person you escalate this to read this one email, perhaps they will get to the point.
By the way, the stock has edged up about $.20 since I bought it. I really hope you and your colleagues can get to the bottom of this. Our company should not waste more time on coming up with the same wrong answer.
