The search for key words starts with a proposed product. I found this a bit intimidating as I thought up and discarded product after product. The solution was to simply "get over it". I have a lot to learn in the whole process and getting stuck here is a mistake. There is no question that the selection of a product and a key word set that has high potential of success is probably the most important aspect of the process. Next would come the site itself. But I'm also convinced that true success will only come with a dozen or more good sites. That said I need to learn the process and get on with it.
I chose Market Samurai since I happen to own it and Holly gave it high marks. She also described a nice bit of the operation. And finally, Market Samurai allows me to store "Projects" for each of the key words being analyzed. Holly described keeping copious notes on her analysis, but I suspect that the Samurai project relieved a lot of that. You can even export table of information.
My analysis produced many good key words. I wonder what limit might be practical for the number of key words.
