OK, now it's functioning, but a rash of details are upon me. I'm using a home page plus posts for my structure. So now I need to refine the home page, complete a minimum number of review/posts and critically important - work on the SEO for the home page and each post.
When I review Holly's message, I can now understand her point of view. You can't really go through all of the details of this journey. You have to make the trip to understand.
As for content, I'm building a four point rating system so that I can look at each of the items for review and discuss them based on the four rating categories. This helps me organize my thoughts and provide a consistent read for my customers. That's the plan anyway.
As for SEO, I can see why I see two or three tools offered every day on SEO, each automatic and each promising the first page of Google. The only way that I can manage the email is to put everything in an "Offers" folder for reading later. My plan is to press myself for content and let the site take shape. While I'm doing the posts I'll fill in SEO data. Then when I'm done, I'll perform an evaluation to see if anyone is even showing up to the site, and then evaluate making a move on the SEO offerings at that point.
I plan to review my "Offers" folder from the newest to the oldest looking for the best. It seems that most offers include an expiration or a rising price. I had found that I was reading all the offers I got and pretending that I had put in a day's work. So along with "Action!" I've added "Focus!" (So the real purpose of this blog is self-discipline.)
